COMPOSITION
Treatment of severe magnesium deficiencies isolated or associated with other deficiencies: pregnancy, lactation, alcoholism, malnutrition, vomitting, diarrhea, magnesium malabsorption. In cases of concomitant calcium deficiency, it is recommended to supply the magnesium before giving calcium.
Therapy of functional signs and symptoms of attacks with hyperventilation (spasmophilia) without specific treatment.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Method of administration
- Magne-B6 Boston is oral route, with a full glass of water.
Dosage:
- Adults: 6-8 tablets per day divided into 2-3 times.
- Children > 6 years old: 4-6 tablets per day divided into 2–3 times daily.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug.
- Severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/minute.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- In the event of associated calcium deficiency, it is recommended to proceed first in most cases, to the magnesia repletion before calcitherapy .
- When using high doses of pyridoxine (> 200 mg) for a long time may be responsible for sensory neuropathy
(numbness and tingling of the extremities). All of these disorders can disappear when vitamin B is stopped.
Pregnancy and lactation
- Pregnancy: The use of Magne-B6 Boston can be considered during pregnancy, if necessary.
- Lactation: Can be used for breastfeeding women but not to exceed the dose of 20 mg / day of vitamin B6.
EFFECTS ON ABILITY TO DRIVE AND USE MACHINES
The drug is not likely to affect the ability to drive and use machines.
Shelf-life:
36 months from the date of manufacturing. Do not use after the expiry date.
